![]() ![]() ![]() The game went from a point of working to not working and all that happened was steam got restarted. It is possible steam and its subprocesses and subhooks are loaded before GFE thus preventing the issue but Zenoth has made no indication of using an insider build, so its unlikely to be a software cause ![]() Considering I have absolutely zero problems with 99.99% of my 450+ games library and the problem is only with Cyberpunk, I'm going to assume that my Pagefile is just fine by leaving Windows itself manage it.Ĭlick to want to help the guy fix the issue, which means exploring from all ends - the issue going on with GFE/Overlay happening on insider builds does so right from boot up The last time I messed around with it was back in Windows XP. All I see there is the Cyberpunk 2077 folder, and inside it is a UserSetting. I don't even have a folder called 'cache' there. Again, I want to make it 500% clear and stress that back in December I did NOT, ever experience that issue with the 1.03 / 1.05 versions of the game, and my PC is exactly the same it was in December with the sole exception of being up to date in regards to drivers and that's it. But yeah, so far it's a no go, still crashing on startup. That's advanced troubleshooting that I'm not qualified to perform, for sure. I quickly browsed it before typing this reply and I honestly don't know what I'm even looking at, nor where to begin. I also checked about Hardware-accelerated GPU Scheduling, but it was already Disabled.Īs for the Windows Event Viewer / Log, I'm the last person on Earth to ask for that. Considering I have absolutely zero problems with 99.99% of my 450+ games library and the problem is only with Cyberpunk, I'm going to assume that my Pagefile is just fine by leaving Windows itself manage it.
